		<description>Currently LASIK is not fully covered by any insurance. Some will cover up to $1500. Usually with that LASIK centers will have you pay the full amount up front and will give you a receipt to submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. 

LASIK is still considered elective surgery. 

Most centers though offer financing plans (there are some that do 18 months interest free).</description>
